What Is Vivace?

It’s the newest generation of radio frequency microneedling, and Vivace Ultra is FDA-cleared for your safety. This minimally-invasive treatment stimulates the natural production of collagen and is shown to be effective in alleviating facial wrinkles, fine lines, and tightening and toning the face, neck, hands, and body.

The Vivace Ultra Microneedling RF device is designed for a comfortable patient experience with little to no downtime. Most clients can go back to their daily routine without anyone knowing they had a treatment. Vivace Ultra boasts a precision robotic motor that minimizes discomfort compared to other RF microneedling devices.



How Does It Work?

When applied to the skin, under topical anesthesia, sterile microneedles are used to create many microscopic channels deep into the dermis of the skin that can stay open up to four to six hours. This stimulates the body to produce new collagen. The precise delivery of RF energy to 31 varying depths of penetration gives Vivace exceptional outcomes.

Vivace microneedles deliver energy deep into the dermis without damaging the epidermis. Minimally invasive RF thermal energy creates fractional electrocoagulation in the dermis which facilitates a natural wound healing process. Wound healing promotes the remodeling of collagen, elastin and wound contraction, which enhances skin laxity.


What Does It Feel Like?

With a numbed face, the treatment feels like little more than light pressure to the face, with an occasional, light sparking feeling.


Does It Hurt?

Topical numbing cream is applied 30 to 60 minutes prior to the treatment to ensure a comfortable patient experience. Most patients say they find the treatment pain to be in the mild range. The Vivace treatment was designed with patient comfort in mind.


What Is RF?

Radio frequency (RF) provides heat that stimulates collagen production which has been found to lead to tighter, younger-looking skin. Combined with state-of-the-art microneedling, patients have experienced optimal results.


How Many Treatments Do I Need?

While a single treatment will yield some results in many clients, we recommend two to three treatments spaced 2 to 3 months apart for optimal results.


How Long Does It Take?

The full face treatment takes about 45 minutes (adding neck and chest will add time), with an additional 30 to 45 minutes needed for numbing. Expect to be in our office for 2 hours.


What Kind of Skin Does It Work On?

Most skin colors can be treated, including tanned skin and dark skin.


What Is My Recovery Time?

Most patients feel there is little to no visible down time from the Vivace treatment. Some patients may experience small bruises from the microneedles which can be minimized by avoiding aspirin, motrin, advil, aleve, fish oil and other blood thinners for 1 week prior to your treatment.


How Long Do The Results Last?

Everyone is different, but the collagen and elastin you make is your own and continues accelerated production over the 3 to 6 months. We feel maintenance treatments at 1 to 2 year intervals can help to maintain long term results.
